Life Care, LLC. is your new health care school of the surrounding New Orleans/Jefferson area. Life Care provides individuals the opportunity to obtain a Certified Nursing Assistant certification in only three weeks, along with other program supplements.  CNA's are individuals who provide basic care for patients in hospitals, long term care facilities, and home-health settings.  They work closely with nurses and other members of the healthcare team to keep patients safe and comfortable. • Three-week course includes 2 full weeks of classroom training and 1 week of hands-on clinical training.

• Classes are taught by experienced nursing professionals.
  

• Upon completion students will receive a Training Verification Form which is required by the Louisiana DHH to take the CNA certification exam.
  

• Students will obtain CPR training & certification
  

• A new class begins every three weeks 

Training schedule:

Program requires a minimum of 80 hours for three weeks. Schedule includes time for breaks in accordance with state and federal guidelines.  Life Care offers two courses each month.

Daytime classes: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 3:30pm

Evening classes: Monday - Friday 4:30pm - 9:30pm

Training Hours:

Classroom/Skill Lab Instruction: 40 hours

Clinical: 40 hours

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be over the age 16

• If age 16, must have parental approval

• High School diploma or GED NOT required

• Must be a US Citizen or authorized to work in the US (documentation may need to be provided)

• Background Check

• TB skin test (within one year)
