The Clinical Experience:
(Tasks that maybe performed during the clinical experience)
1. Basic nursing skills included but not limited to:
a. Bed making
b. Vital signs
c. Height & weight
d. Care for resident’s environment
e. Intake & output (foods & fluids)
f. Assist in providing proper nutritional care
g. Ambulating & transferring residents
h. Using body mechanics
i. Maintaining infection control & safety standards
j. Caring for residents suffering from Alzheimer’s disease & dementia
2. Personal care skills including, but not limited to:
a. Bathing, including mouth care
b. Grooming and dressing
c. Toileting
d. Assisting with feeding and hydration
e. Skin care
